I know the gut that had it before him aswell. Another Paul. Very nearly bought it myself about 2yrs ago for £750 tax and tested but wasn't too keen on the fact that the roof was completely fucked. I used to valet it about 10 yrs ago when an Asian guy had it and was scrap back then aswell
Bit of advice for your mate tho. As far as I know the head is fucked and thats why it's been off the road for a while so I would pull that engine apart before putting it in a car just to make sure it's been fixed
