hi guys, im new to this site so please can someone give me some assistance on my latest progress...

I bought a donor car (Cougar 2.0 Zetec) and i have my Ford focus mk1 1.8..

i took the engine out of the 2.0 and bolted my 1.8 gearbox, flywheel, clutch etc to it. and have it fitted with 2.0 injectors etc etc.

BASICALLY the car starts and runs, but sounds like its misfiring... it wont run like a normal car... it has the 1.8 ECU in...

NOW HERES MY PROBLEM. the 2.0 cougar ecu doesnt fit into my 1.8 loom. does anybody have any suggestions of making this conversion complete?

im guessing ill either need the 1.8 ecu remapping... or some sort of mod to make the 2.0 ecu plug in? any ideas? PLEASE HELP
