If you can, drop a tiny blob of solder on the crimped part to maintain a good connection and keep the moisture out.

The 2 end ones, nearest the passenger window for want of a better description, are the ECU earths and arguably two of the most important wires on the ECU. They carry the injector current and the ground for the entire management system. When they cant pass current, everything slows down and starts to read wrong. It is very common on L1 and 6, less so on L8, and I have never seen it on P8.
As an aside, Stu, is it worth running an earth directly to the battery for the ECU? And when will you have new looms available on the website?
