Hi, i have a mk4 escort that ive just got back on the road after a few years.

It has a really wierd starting issue - it starts fine every time when the engine is cold, however when the engine is hot and i try starting the car it turns over really really slowly and wont start like there is no power in the battery. After 30mins or so when cooler, the car will start fine again.

As you can imagine this is a major pain when at the petrol station etc lol. Have any of you had this problem before?
