Insurance is so exspencive, so could someone help me please.

I've just passed my test and time to buy a car, I'm 18 in a matter of days so that will help I hope

What cars do you recomend? I want someone cheap and good looking, a first car. Its not going to be anything special I know but someone I can make look okay with a little bit of TLC.

I have around 3k to spend.
