Johnson with the Mk1 Fiesta and a guy called Pete with a Mk2 four door Escort both have home brewed supercharged Zetecs. Both are using an M45 from a Mini Cooper S which they are finding is hassle as it's not well suited to the engine. Neither are making good power on them at the moment but both are planning upgrades to much bigger M90 superchargers I believe, so would be good to see the results then.

There's a ratty looking Mk1 Cortina with an ST170 engine fitted with a home brewed M62 Mercedes supercharger and his seems to work well enough, but don't think he's ever run it at the strip or dyno'd so a little hard to tell!

Neil uses the discontinued Powerworks supercharger kit which uses an M62 which is the same as some Mercs. His runs a smaller pulley and boltsan inlet manifold which doubles as a chargecooler, which helps as roots type superchargers aren't too thermally efficant. Neil's car makes 270bhp or so on a smaller pulley which is a good result but his is the only 'professional' kit.

It's a fair bit of hassle mounting a supercharger yourself though but depends what you want from the engine/car.
