Theese 1.6 Zetec SE's hang the revs to make gear changes smoother.
Although it's annoying I had to do 650miles in 5 days without the map sensor plugged in which deactivated this feature. It made gear changes very rough indeed!
Since when? Neither of my engines have done this at all. If you depress the clutch, it goes back to idle. And don't say it's broken. Ollie Clark fitted the engine and 'box in it now, and it's bob on!
