Exclamation Fiesta 1.25 Misfire on cylinders 1 & 3

Would just like to say hello, recently bought a fiesta after many years in the VAG scene.

the car ran perfectly fine and started first time, was just very low on petrol. After jacking the car on stands to give it a full service the car does not start. I have taken it off the stands now.

I initially thought it was because of petrol, but that is clearly not the problem anymore.

I called the AA out today who finally managed to get the car to idle after a push start. But misfiring on cylinders 1 & 3. After testing a new coilpack he had in the van it fired on 3 cylinders. I am slightly confused as i understand 1&4 fire off one coil and 2 & 3 off the other.

I would be grateful if anyone could give me some advice before i fork out for a new coilpack and leads. Have already fitted new bosch spark plugs but have been recommended by the AA guy to ditch them and buy NGK.

Final point, all for leads produce a good spark when outside of the cylinder.

Any ideas how this can happen just from changing the oil and coolant? I have even tried the old plugs again which made no difference.
