My question is, with the gearbox out to replace the clutch, could i replace the flywheel to an efi and still leave the rest in tact (MFI) whilst I collect the bits. I assume that it won't cause issues?. If I have an efi flywheel, does that mean I no longer require the sensor to be over the crank?

Which is the better method (reliability wise) flywheel or crank pully?

Many thanks

Yes you can do that no probs, drill the CPS hole (if needed) whilst the gearbox is out too! This is far better than a trigger wheel on the crank pulley... I've had one break it's welds and almost fly off!!!
