This is bad news as I'm in the process of building a Escort Diesel MTX75 with Focus RS clutch flywheel and differential to go with my 2.0 silvertop turbo Zetec. So, do I understand right that the clutch will not fit inside the bellhousing without modifications (I guess this applies to the Zetec as well as CVH). If this really is the case, then would it be possible to machine the clutch cover? Or is this a case of the release bearing being too close to the clutch?
I really wouldn't want to use several spacer plates as the gearbox is long enough as it is...
