So the 2.0 Zetec engine is a good engine? I bought it as it has only 1 owner (Old boy) with full Ford history and is in almost showroom condition inside and out. I use it to go to work and take my dogs out (Bullmastiff's) I wonder if having a load of tools or almost 20st of dogs in the boot would effect the fuel consumption?

I am thinking about getting either a K&N panel filter or Pipercross as heard they can up the MPG by 2 or so MPG and release a few horses? I have already modified the airbox so it has a direct feed from the grill.
