I decided to do some work on the car today, due to the damage sustained when coming back from southend, I needed the sump off so decided to chain the engine to the strut brace, and lower the subframe/xmember away.
I had to unseize the coilys so I can raise it for my new wheels/brakes, couldn't shift the collars at all, so ground them down and split them off, found a few surprises along the way, a 1KG bag of heroine!!, no not really two knackered tca, split gaitors on the coilys, and a seriously bad rod end, cars costing me a fortune, but glad I did it, I found my pet hate oil leak from the ford filter.
So about £80 later it should all be back together with all 4 new wheels and new 6 pot brakes, in glorious PINK!!
