Just be aware it may have been bodged in there in the past, and have knackered threads!!
No need at all for all this sump plug replacing, the cossie(2wd anyway) is only torqued up to 21-28NM.
I always put sealant on the threads, not a single drop of the oil stuff will leak from here then.
