i looked underneath(still havent taken a picture) and it seems the downpipe that goes under the gearbox hits the floor but also has a dent in at the top so it cant really go any closer to the box. Looks like the middle box has taken quite a beating though so maybe i can adjust that so it sits a lot higher. I might have to modify the downpipe so it bends round the gearbox rather than just going straight across.
