Right, question.........
if you are a blue badge holder sometimes you are entitled to a car off the government for mobility yes?
Well there is this bloke at work who is really getting under my skin
His missus is disabled (she's not the smallest of ladies) and they got given a 07 plate Ford mondeo as a mobility car.
Now they have only done 2000miles in it since they were given the car 2yrs+ ago as they have an old banger they use to run around in (out of their own pocket)
Now what gets on my tits is that after 3 yrs i understand you have an option of buying the mobility car at trade rate instead of getting a new one... Now a 07 plate mondeo with 2000miles on the clock IMO is worth quite a bit of money and he says that he can buy it a fraction of the cost off the government and sell it privately and pocket the profit?
Now i'm not against people having mobility cars and in 75% of cases they are deserved. But it hasn't even been out of the garage in 15months as they just use their banger mondeo (old shape M reg thing)
What i'm asking is......... Are they going between the lines or are they breaking the law?
Cheers, Smit.
