not read the whole thread, but if you get a focus rs box you don't need to cut anything out. use a zetec 2.0 flywheel and a focus rs cover, get a cosworth 6 paddle friction plate and lathe off part of the centre. relocate the oil filter remotely possibly.
i have one fittted to my xr2 zetec turbo engine.
