Tell you what gets me is my 2.0 MK1 Zetec drinks fuel......To my 50 litre tank I get 300 miles. This is mainly town/B road driving but still bloody expensive. Its not like she hasn't been looked after either......1 owner from new with full Ford stamped history and receipts. I have given her a full service.....Bosch Super 4 plugs, new HT leads, OE air filter, TB cleaned, oil (Castrol Magnatec 5/30) OE oil filter, 2 treatments of STP fuel injection cleaner and I only run her on either Shell or BP fuel......Cant understand why so thirsty? So my thoughts are....If my car is thirsty with 130bhp on tap then why not get a 200bhp car that surely cant be that much worse on fuel?
