I always flow injectors prior to using them, to ensure that they are all doing what they should with a decent spray pattern, but more importantly to ensure they are evenly matched, so if you had a injector flowing slightly less for example you could mark this one and ensure it went in the cylinder nearest the water pump, ie you ideally wouldn't want it ending up in the furthest away from the pump.
Showing the spray pattern will also show you whether they need cleaning, ie if they dribble rather than create a spray they need cleaning.
It's suicide engine wise not to, considering the cost of this and engine rebuild cost!!
