basically im spraying the boot on my golf mk3 VR6, its been sprayed before but they have only sprayed up to the seal and the paint has flaked off over the years as you can see the red. if there a tool that you can buy to lift the seal so the paint goes under it?
i could take the window out but the golf mk3's are bonded in and are a bastard to get off!
if you wire it you will lose the encapsulation try and get it cut out from behind, if you dont want to cut it out try folding the encapsultion back and try taping it be pretty hard i think.
