looking for advice please, i bought a 150l compressor, bought new pressure switch and line that goes from one way valve to the switch.
Fitted it all and up and running, reaches 120psi and shuts off but was always leaking air near the switch, so mate comes over and had a fiddle, tightened a few things and hey presto no more leaking air, happy days NOT !!

Now when it reaches the safety limit and switches off it just stops the motor dead and doesn't blow off like it used to, then when the pressure drops and the switch re engages, the compressor seems stuck, like there is an air lock, i have disconnected the belt and the electric motor spins fine but the pump is locked and then it blows the fuse.

If i then bleed the compressor right down adn change the fuse the pump re engages no problem.

Any ideas please guys.
