These are all old pics! the car looks a lot different to these.

Sadly I let my photobucket account lapse after not using this forum for the last year or so. So all the resto pics in the thread are gone.

Ill spend some time now making a new album.

Really sad news, I know everyone says the same old stuff but Mark was truly a genuinly nice guy. Very down to earth and this car ment the world to him. Even when he got his bmw stuck in our field, he saw the funny side when I dragged him and the car trailer back 20 feet with my landrover, nearly ripped the front chassis and subframe out of the old girl.

The car, well, it needs to be seen in the flesh. Ive got no ties to the car and can remain totaly unbias when I say it really is one of the best 3doors our there.

Yes this is not a "mint" condition concourse trailer queen car, but I believe this car is better than that.

This car is original, it still wears its original paint from when it left the factory, and when you take this into acount you can see how much love and care has gone into this car.

Its been gararged for 99% of its life, and I dont think its hardy saw wet weather and it showed when I bare metaled the underside. On the entire underside there was one piece of surface rust no bigger than a 20p!

Personally I prefer a car to be this way, its not an over-restotored trophy, its a super clean car with character, that can be driven to shows and still put to shame a vast majortiy of its counterparts.

Price, well I know Marks answer to that, he would have said it was priceless!

Its very difficult to price these days, all I can say is if your in the market for a 3door as a super clean investment, then this is the car for you!
