update...........just been looking on a website which says a computerised module (fuel ecu ?) receives signals about the engines condition and alters the electrical current supplied to the pressure actuator ! now when then RAC bloke was testing stuff he said there was voltage coming out of the plug that plugs into the pressure actuator, so does this mean the pressure actuator is broken as there is voltage going to it but no fuel coming out or does is not matter whether there is voltage coming out of the fuel ecu ? ie. when the fuel ecu is broken is there no voltage coming out of it at all ?
