No, Aluminium alloy's are designated number's depending on alloy and strenght. 6000 series is very strong, but 7000 is stronger, but difficult to machine and suffers from corrosion more than 6000. 6061 or 6068 is what we use for situations like brake calipers. Google wiki or something, as I could be typeing here all day.
