the bit in the middle is like a washer hose connector it about 2-3mm smaller in diameter that the vacuum pipe tuning place put it in for me because my old AMAL valve was boosting high
A standard ERST should hold 8psi, take that reducer out and just put a pipe from the turbo housing to the actuator. If the preload is set right then this should give you 8psi
