Can anyone tell me the difference between a 4wd and 2wd saff clutch cable?

I was about to order a new clutch ratchet as my clutch operation is a bit strange. Basically, it works but the ratched sits all the way to max position (furthest towards the drivers leg) but its a brand new cable from MSD. Im assuming with a new cable, it should be the other way, the ratchet should be further towards the bulkhead and move forward with cable stretch/wear?

If the cables are different lengths, im assuming theres a possibility I have received the wrong one?? Only noticed this happening since fitting new clutch cable.
