I looked at these as a replacement for my ST200 but after driving one decided against it. I found it to be relatively slow and not that exciting to dirve. They are prone to knocking the injectors and fuel rails out along with the Dual Mass FLywheel and clutch. When the DMF goes it normally takes the starter motor with it as the swarf gets into the starter and screws it.

I plumped to spend a little more and got a BMW 535D instead. Was looking at the 525/530D but drove a 535D and fell in love with power and delivery.
