Please help! I am desperate to get my Escort back on the road but have a problem with the front end I cant solve. I have uprated all the cars suspension, with rs2000 struts up front. Problem is my drivers side wheel sits at the back of my wheel arch and the passenger wheel sits about perfect in the middle? Anti roll bar measures nice and even so not bent, underneath is all original with no repairs and measures even on both sides, new poly bushes front to back so no saggy rubbers causing the problem? Only thing I can think of is, wrong anti roll bar? It is the original from when the car had standard struts (drum brakes), is this different to the rs2000 anti roll bar? Or I noticed the tca's look different at the underside at the ball joint but could have been replaced over the years for an aftermarket equivelant? I dont want to spend money on things that I dont know will cure the problem. Its really trying to get the car on the road!
