Just bought a fully loaded E39 540i M Sport with the 4.4l V8 and its a stunning car. The only thing letting it down is its thirst but I knew it would anway and have been planning an LPG conversion using a tank mounted in the spare wheel well.

Just wondering has anyone on here had it done and what have been your experiences. Also can it affect the valuation of the car or alter potential buyer's perceptions because its been tinkered with.

Not that I am planning to get rid actually far fom it I love it!!
