The problem is mate just like the Vauxhalls is you can't be sure on the condition and mileage of the rods, some might take 300hp, others might break or bend at 200hp

If I was building a engine that I had any intention to push reasonably hard for long periods I'd put some steel rods in it for some reassurance.

I do see the point of the thread but IMO there are too many variables
