This thread is all about what the title suggests, does anyone have any evidence that zetec rods are weak? has anyone actually had one fail over 300bhp? i'm not bothered about rumours or stories, just hard facts coupled with engine specs and what was happening when said failure occurred!

i'm not bothered if your tuner or engine builder said you have to change them either, thats probably more a case of them not wanting to find 'the limit'

anyone? or will this just turn out to be rumour?
