Why do you need to lower the compression ratio? I wouldn't on the next engine i build.

There are people with over 300brake and a standard ish compression ratio.



PS, my pistons were skimmed, standard mahle. But as above, i wouldn't again. But i would definitely use ford gaskets ALL the way through.
