[QUOTE=Weeksy;5466115]Cheers for your thoughts fellas.
I am actually getting 200 miles to a tank, and on greys with low comp and a T34 with head and cams etc I think that is pretty good!
Are you serious, you've got to be taking the piss ?, 200 miles to a tank, that's roughly 15.15MPG, assuming a full tank of 60 litres and 4.55L a gallon, jesus christ, I'd hate to think what you think was bad.
To put that into perspective, just prior to taking my 200,973 MILES old engine apart(had already done head but everything else 200K old), I went from West Norfolk to Scarborough and back, via the A47/A17/A15 over Humber Bridge etc, I averaged around 45mph over the trip, including stopping at the Bridge visitor centre, lights etc so not a "run"so to speak, 186 miles each way, and did the RETURN trip on a tank, yes close on 400miles to a tank, worked out at the time it was 40.8MPG, running perfectly on greys, T3-34(T3 comp housing machined out with T34 trim), mildly modded head and 200,000 miles.
My mot emissions were 0.97% CO, 137ppm, at the time mileage was 193,000, it was that smooth opposite lock asked me to rev the engine as he swore blind it wasn't running, I do not and refuse to run closed loop, I ran mine purely on the mapped position, even though CL is only a mouse click away.
Averaging 10-30 mile trips, and time in city the average is around 26-28mpg.
