At the very least as said, get a full load fuelling check done, cost around £40 or so, then look at the numbers, esp AFR, I had a chip of his, with his rolling road printout, looked well impressive, the petrol station where I fill up certainly liked the new set up, it was seriously drinking to about 16-18mpg, seemed to run ok once warm, unless it idled for more than about 2 minutes then it sooted the plugs up big time, and had to be constantly revved to clear them.
It was "reported" to have 270lbft and 325 ish bhp, the truth was 270bhp ,and 325lbft, it lost as a stage 3 a few bhp over the fantastic GGR stage 1 chip, having more torque was nice though, but the fuel was crippling.
I later ran it on my fave rollers where the afr was nearly off scale at 10.3 on a easy cruise at 2500 steady speed, at around 4500 the power just plummeted like falling off a cliff, still have the printout, that's when I thought fcuk it and went after market from my nearby place, never been so happy since.
It's sad but true as chip says, I've driven cars that PH has done that went overseas, and they were spectacular, really well set up and did the job well, mostly he can't be bothered, shame as he knows how to do a good job.
