Its probably quite easy to do as quite a few people turbo charged VR6 golfs and corrados back in the day but the bora is a big rolly polly sponge of a thing with no steering feel or chassis finesse (I took one of them on a track day) so giving it an extra 70 bhp will just cause more headaches.
I quite like them as they are a very understated car and cost peanuts now but they dont handle well.

I have videos of this car at coombe, and they handle very well! only mod being some 18` rs4 wheels, the old man has done 3 track days in it and on each time has shown up my mate in his 182 clio, my mate in his type r, my missus in a mapped and de-catted golf 1.8t (and none of them are shy drivers) and hes 62!, i can get a video off this if anyone wishes to doubt it? from what i have seen from/being in it handeling and the way the chassis acts are NOT a problem
