sometimes it issues e-cheques for NO reason.

I used to use ebay a lot and it would happen occasionally that i would pay for like 10 things at once and they would all end up being echeques really pissing me and the seller off.

paypal will not change it and the only reason they usually give is "security reasons" to "protect you from fraud". yet in reality it offers you no security whatsoever and is just a delay so they can make more money off the interest. Banks will laugh at you if you mention e-cheques as its made up by paypal.

The reality is that part of the paypal/ebay system has set criteria to send e-cheques wether you like it or not and there is nothing you can do about it. just type in e-cheque into google to see the frustrations
