This has been done before and the engine still made 150bhp with cams and a few other mods. It's really nothing to worry about, you may even be able to run a little more ignition advance on your new cams as it will be slightly less prone to detonation with a lowered compression ratio.[/QUOT
Yeah I have Piper Ultimate Road Cams with the timing advanced 108, 4-1 manifold with full decat system and induction kit, and the rolling road said it was 125bhp which I found shocking til he explained I shouldn't of put the 2l head on it, with my standard 1.8 hes had them running 140bhp with cams alone set up correctly.
So what my best option? Or any option for that matter lol
