Had a problem with my brakes for a while and its baffled me a bit, not to mention the local garage!
Ok bear with me lol... 8 times out of 10 when i brake from 30mph + i get a rhythmic clunking noise consistent with the speed of the car coming from the front.
The noise slows down as the car slows down, carries on until the car stops and i can feel a clunk through the brake pedal consistent with the clunking noise.
I dont have to brake hard for the noise to happen, so it doesnt seem to be the ABS kicking in too early to me, correct me if im wrong lol.
Sometimes if im at motorway speeds i can feel the pedal go down slightly further just before the noise starts.
Also the ABS and TC lights come on when i reach 60mph + and the TC light will flash when cornering normally and i can feel the power being cut down as a result.
No fault codes flag up and i have changed front discs and pads together with front ABS sensors, all to no avail!
Im thinking of changing the ABS pump anyway just to rule it out even though i was told it was fine.
The local garage have got no idea whats wrong, its cost me a fortune so far and its starting to drive me insane

Any help gratefully received, thanks.

<--- real tears lol.
