a good friend of mine bought a westfield back in 2007 in kit form. cost him £12k but that came with EVERYTHING it needed and all new parts so it could be registered on a 2007 number plate

i helped him with quite alot of it, and although the instructions arent clear in places its a very well made kit that still looks good now.

dont take on someone elses unfinished kit car.....waste of time

if budget is limited then i'd suggest the MX-5 based westfield kit, looks very nice and i think it comes in at around £7.5K with a donor car

some of the locost and robin hood kits are pretty poor to be honest when you see them in the flesh....i was impressed with the quality of the westfield kits though
