The Pectel boards for the IAW048/P8 (Escort) I've had – from GGR and Mountune - are just dongles that prevents the free duplication of the EPROM chips and protect the developer's work. I guess most of the extra features come from the firmware.
If you want serious closed-loop lambda fueling you need a wide-band O2 sensor such as a Bosch LSU or an NTK sensor. Not sure these can be wired to a P8 as they both require special electronics with closed-loop heater control. If running in closed-loop fueling is some kind of requirement, you are better off with a newer and more capable ECU...
Besides that, I never quite understood why one would want a boost control switch, let alone a 12 positions one but maybe it's just me! Any trouble driving slowly?
I see a need for a 2500 RPM rev limiter with no boost at all though, I call it the bodyshop mode.
