Sorry lads just found out that its an 2.5.....that the cambelt went on....so they replaced it with a 3.2 v6 engine....so maybe not worth as much in some peoples eyes i expect??.
It has the shiny chrome pipes on the engine in the engine bay and says 24v v6 does that sound like what the v6 looks like or were both the 2.5 and 3.2 the same looking engine? as he bought it off someone who said theyd replaced the engine...and Alfas arent my area....sound like yours Glennyboy!!
Both look the same externally (with the chrome pipes), though the 3.2 lump had a unique inlet plenum with "GTA 3.2 V6" on it-
So unless the "new" lump didn't come with the inlet, someone may be telling porkies.
