There's a resto thread on here of all the work I did. Still wish I never sold it but had nowhere to put it when I moved house. Should have just stuck it in the garden as I'm In a position to finish it now. Time for another project soon I think.
It might be. My gf only wanted the car because it was like a cheap alternative 2 proper rs turbo but the guy want 2G for it and it needs alot of work. It needs a lot of welding as u can see if u look back over the thread. The car is pretty much as described by Carlo or the guy that went to see it. The water pipe has been replaced but the temp still shoots up. The doors don't lock, the boot doesn't open, there's no documents, it's really slow for an RST, the steering has massive play in it, it only starts if it wants to. I think it will hav problems passing emissions. I could go on all day. If I thought the guy would sell it for cheap I'd buy it and get the work done but he wants 2G.
