We managed to get hold of an efi inlet, wiring loom and ecu to change it from the mfi system. i would like to ask if the blue injectors are the standard ones as they look quite new, also i opened the ecu and it looks like a standard chip in there stamped ford ( or at least i think its the chip as im a cossie man myself so not too sure on the RST ecus). what i wondered is can you put a cossie chip inside the ecu and run the cossie injectors on the efi manifold or is it better to leave what it has in it?

The blue injectors are the standard ones. The EFi ECU doesn't use a piggyback chip like the cossies and ERST's, if you want one it will have to plug in to the socket at the bottom of the outer casing (Potentially behind a small panel).
Your best bet is to get a 195 style chip and a set of beige '701 injectors. Get it mapped by a pro and this should help you out.
