fitted the fuel pressure regulator today not noticed any running problems yet but ive filled up with normal unleaded today and its pinking its tits off again! i cant beleive that an econemy car has to run on super just to run right? a bit pissed with this car now as ive replaced the coil now scanned no fault codes stored and its always serviced with genuine ford bits includeing the fuel filter.
going to check the cam timing this weekend and if thats fine im going to do my third waterpump on this car since ive had it due to yet anouther leaky core plug in the water pump housing and book it in for richard at tremona garage a local ford specialist to have a look at.
i love it but this is costing me a fortune on super and i could understand if it was an rs but its a boggo 1.6 shoping car just to get me to my girlfriends and to work!
