His package of engine / turbo / ecu are making more power than yours
He's upgraded his brakes, as have you, although yours are bigger
He's got a different rear beam, as have you
He's on coilovers, as are you
Both on aftermarket instruments where required
Both on custom breather setups
Both on modified fuel systems
etc


You may (rightly) feel that for track work many aspects of your car are higher standard, but the bottom line is that none of these things have been overlooked on Rod's they have all been replaced with items suitable for his use, just like yours have.

They are different cars, but both are pretty thorough builds IMHO
The people who think Rod has just plonked a massive engine in a ford sierra and done nothing else to it are mistaken.
