I used ACL, nothing fancy in my engine, but every aspect of block was checked even for straightness, crank run on bearings etc.
Pay a little extra and get the mega heavy f/wheel lightened at the same time, you'll be glad you did when you drive it.
Why you not doing it yourself ?

Doing what myself? build the engine you mean ? i dont think so chris!! I wouldn,t want to try tbh i dont seem to have the time for one nevermind all the tools and knowhow . The guy who i now am using is a very reputable engine builder that i know i can trust . My bores are fine just needs rehoning and yeah everything will be checked correctly using the correct methods i.e plastiguage.
If the crank needs a grind and theres already 10thou taking out how far can they go ? This engine will only likely see 350max with myself.
