I had a 115amp on my S2, think it was from a granda. Find a car that had electric everything and air con, as it's alternator will have a higher rating !! When i fitted mine i had to mess about with the spacers for the pulley to line the belt up !! Also if ya fit the smallest pulley ya can get the alt. will spin faster keeping ya voltage up at lower revs. Don't worry about it spinning to fast as the regulator will stop the voltage going over 14.4. If ya go to the effort of changing the nator, then beef up the wiring, the ford stuff is sh1t. Standard wiring piggy backs the starter motor terminal, don't do this with the new wiring ! leave the standard cable to the starter, remove the standard wire from nator to starter and use some nice heavy 0 gauge straight from the nator to ya pos terminal on the battery !!! This should get some decent power in the car for ya !! If ya running decent stereo which i'm guessing is the case ya can use one more trick ! The regulator measures the voltage at the nator terminal, which results in some voltage drop by the time it reaches the battery, so what ya can do is extend this wire to meaure the voltage at the battery for a true 14.4 volts !!!
