the 1.25 is essentially an underbored 1.4 zetec, there was a nitroused 1.25 a while back that made 180bhp with only an uprated headgasket and bolts.
fyi, i think having the intake on the front is a better design as you dont get as much hot/warm air one the intake side of the engine.
