Rears were a doddle, undo lower arm and shocker then the spring just falls out, but the fronts were a pain. Not difficult, just took a long time. You can't unbolt the shock top mount bolts without taking the scuttle panel off, which also means removing the wiper arms and the symposer pipework, and about 50 (i'm not joking) clips that go with it! Then it was a bugger to get the shock back into the hub, had to prise it apart carefully with the use of a few modified tools, then press in with a trolley jack.
As I said not difficult just took ages, give yourself a full day to do it if working on your own!
