try and find out if you make a claim, how much will your insurance will go up, you will lose 2 years no claims, so you'll probably be paying increased premiums for at least 2 years, so depending what you are paying now it might go up by 25-30% or more, depending on how much its going cost to put this other car right, weigh it up, the cash out now, and your ncd intact, or claim and your premium goes up for a couple of years, plus when you want to change your insurance company they will want to know about any claims in the last 5 years and the costs involved,
