Brilliant newz Jimmy, I think its running a standared turbo but I did notice when dropping the engine in that there was a bit of play in the shaft of the turbo
. I also noticed that before I took the engine out of the other shell that there is a bit of smoke (not much at all) but seemed to boost ok....any ideas?

Regarding the smoke, what colour was it and was it just on start up?
If it was white, could be just condensation in theexhaust which should clear after a few minutes.
Black is overfuelling/running rich.
Blue smoke on idle could be valve stem seals, common, cheap and easy to fix on a cvh.
Of course it could also be the turbo
